Bluestem has recently finished construction of a 1.7 MW wind turbine as a part of a public-private partnership between Bluestem, Central Community College, and Hastings Utilities. The turbine can provide all the college’s electrical needs per month while also being an educational resource for the new wind energy curriculum.
